The International Volcano Monitoring Fund is a non-profit corporation, incorporated in the state of Washington, exempt from U.S. federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your tax-deductible donation will help all our volcano monitoring oriented projects.

What is your donation used for?

Your tax-deductible donation is used to purchase volcano monitoring instrumentation, pay for delivery and installation of these instruments, and cover the costs of site visits to ascertain that the volcano monitoring equipment is being used in furtherance of the non-profit goals of the organization. The IVM-Fund is a trim and efficient organization which has no overhead and pays no salaries. Every dollar donated is used to directly support the reduction of volcanic risk through the improvement of programs to quantitatively monitor the activity levels of dangerous volcanoes.
